How we process the personal data you share with us when you get in touch, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Purposes of processing
We process the data you share with us for the following purposes:
- Respond to enquiries sent through the contact form or by email.
- Manage collaboration requests (industry projects, EU proposals, academic collaboration).
- Maintain follow-up communication related to your initial enquiry.
3. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is the data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), provided by ticking the acceptance box in the contact form, and, where applicable, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to spontaneous email communications.
4. Categories of data processed
- Full name.
- Email address.
- Company or institution (optional).
- Content of your message or enquiry.
- IP address and technical metadata, for abuse prevention via Cloudflare Turnstile.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not transfer data to third parties unless required by law. We do, however, use technology providers that have access to your data as data processors, bound by contracts under Art. 28 GDPR:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery network (CDN), DNS, and anti-bot protection (Turnstile). International transfer covered by the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
- Resend, Inc. (United States, EU infrastructure) — transactional email delivery for contact form messages. Data hosted on EU servers (Frankfurt). International transfer covered by SCCs.
- Google LLC (United States) — corporate email via Google Workspace. International transfer covered by SCCs.
6. Retention period
We keep your data for as long as necessary to address your enquiry and afterwards for a maximum of two (2) years from our last interaction, unless you exercise your right to erasure earlier or a longer legal retention obligation applies.
7. Data subject rights
You may exercise the following rights by emailing contact@itify.pro, attaching a copy of official ID for verification:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure when the data is no longer necessary.
- Objection to processing.
- Restriction of processing.
- Portability of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
8. Complaints to the supervisory authority
If you believe the processing of your data does not comply with applicable regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es, or with your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary technical storage to verify that the request comes from a human, which is exempt from consent requirements under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
